Medicalcorner24® supports regional youth soccer
Youth development has been especially important to the Medicalcorner24® team since the company was founded in 2013. When Michael Witgenfeld, owner of the business and chairman of the SUS GW Barkenberg soccer youth department, brought up the subject of jersey sponsorship, the decision was therefore not difficult. During a friendly conversation, Mr. Pech and Mr. Witgenfeld discussed how to proceed. The basic conditions were quickly established, and shortly afterward, on May 31, 2018, the SUS Barkenberg D-youth team appeared in new jerseys.
Nervous but proud, the team took to one of the pitches at OZC Ommen in the Netherlands in their new jerseys. There, the 11- to 13-year-olds took part through June 3, carrying a great deal of motivation and enthusiasm, in the international youth soccer tournament “Oranje Cup”. The tournament was organized by the nonprofit organization KOMM MIT.
Although the chances of winning the tournament were not particularly good from the outset, they were competing as a district league C-3 team against much higher-ranked opponents. However, the early elimination did not dampen their good spirits or their joy at participating in any way. On the contrary. According to Dirk Pech, the best experience was that the children, not least because of their new jerseys featuring the MC24 logo, grew into a real team in Holland. The players’ enjoyment is clearly visible.
The boys pose for the photo provided to us with smiles, and we do not want to keep it from you. Because is there anything better than cheerful kids who are passionate about sports? Thanks to all the parents and Mr. Pech for providing it.
