The catheter set contains a fully coated atraumatic Tuohy bevel needle which is suitable for through-the-needle-catheter placement. The Contiplex® Tuohy needle ist fitted with a micro-dot electrode to help localize nerves. It possesses improved echogenicity thanks to its laser crafted ultrasound reflectors. Simultaneous injection and aspiration is possible via side port adapter.
Also included in the catheter set is a Contiplex® Ultra catheter which has a pre-formed tip and high echogenicity. Six small openings alongside the catheters length provide optimal spread of anesthetics.
