Wraps offer a reusable form of compression bandages, where the compression pressure can be individually regulated and adjusted as needed using Velcro fasteners or hook systems. This form of compression therapy aims to improve venous return and thus support the reduction of venous edema. In particular, wraps are used as an alternative to traditional bandaging in the initial decongestion phase of severe venous edema. They are reusable medical devices designed for multiple uses and are not sterile.

Application of Compreflex® Standard Calf
- Evenly pull the understocking (included) over the heel and distribute the knit part evenly over the leg. The optimal fit of the understocking is achieved when it ends 2 finger widths below the knee crease.
- Before applying, unfold each Velcro fastener of the product to its full length, roll back the ends, and secure them there to prevent tangling.
- Step into the foot entry aid and pull the product up to just below the knee, but not further than the understocking.
- Gently lay the Velcro fasteners over the leg and close them without applying pressure.
- Apply the Accutab® according to the instructions of your prescribing physician.
Removal of Compreflex® Standard Calf
- To remove, release each Velcro fastener, roll back the ends, and secure them there to prevent tangling.
- Remove the wrap from the leg and take off the liner.
