The Kilner retractors by Hartmann are disposable instruments. They are made of non-reflective steel and are 16 cm long. The two-in-one retractor is a double-headed instrument: one head is a Langenbeck retractor while the other one possesses three-pronged teeth. Retractors are used to keep the area of surgery open or to retract organs. With its two heads, the instrument is suitable for sensitive as well as non-sensitive tissue.
