Mayo Hegar needle holders are made of non-reflective steel and belong to the Peha-Series of disposable instruments by Hartmann. The sterile holders are individually wrapped amd can be stored for at least 5 years. They are used to seize, hold and lead surgical thread. Knotting is also possible, using the Mayo Hegar needle holder. The thin, straight form with interlock makes applying sutures easier. The needle holders are available in lengths of 12 or 14 cm.
